FAQs

To make your tiles stand out, we recommend choosing a lighter grout shade than the colour of your tiles. You could potentially go for a mute olive colour or a soft beige shade, which will make a nice contrast to your tiles.

We have more information if you are unsure what grout is best to choose for your tiles, but if this doesn’t answer any of your questions, our customer service team is more than happy to help out.

Our green tiles are available in 9 different sizes. We’ll break down the smallest and largest ones for you, with tips on what they’re most suitable for.

Smallest Green Tiles: (5cm x 40cm) - These options are available in a mint green shade, in a small rectangular shape. This makes them perfect for creating mosaic effects on walls, and their glazed finish makes them suitable for a bathroom or kitchen walls. We also have these available in other colours.

Largest Green Tiles - (30cm x 60cm) -  Our largest green tiles are in a jade green shade, and they’re a great choice for covering large surface areas. Made from porcelain with a polished finish, they are suitable for both walls and floors in either your kitchen or bathroom..

If you would like a nice contrast, we recommend tiles that are a different hue to the rest of the sage green kitchen, for example the Teal Green 6.5cm x 20cm Wall Tiles. Alternatively, if you would like a seamless look where your tiles blend nicely into the sage green kitchen, our Mint Green Tiles could be a great option for you.

Our green tiles come in a variety of different materials for different purposes, so let’s take a look at what we offer.

Ceramic Green Tiles - Our ceramic green tiles make a durable option as they are generally anti-slip and scratch resistant. They’re made with clay and sand components, so they’re an eco-friendly way to tile your home too. We have various shades of green and sizes to choose from, so you’re sure to find a green ceramic tile that complements your kitchen or bathroom style in our collection.

Porcelain Green Tiles - Like our ceramic tiles, our porcelain tiles are often scratch resistant due to their thickness. They are also less porous, absorbing less water,, making them a fantastic choice for wet environments such as bathrooms, kitchens and laundry rooms. Also available in various sizes and shades of green, you’re sure to find a tile to match your style in our range.

There’s lots to unpack when it comes to finding the best tile material for you, so if you’re unsure you can take a look at our Porcelain Vs Ceramic guide, where we pit the two options together, comparing the pros and cons of each.

Our green tiles can be great for creating a variety of different patterns depending on the look you’re going for. Here are a few ideas below on the most popular and trending stylish tile patterns:

  • Herringbone - This pattern is a stylish and modern way of decorating your living space with tiles, especially for floors. The herringbone tile pattern was first created in ancient Rome, which eventually became a style often seen in our modern homes. To make a striking wall or floor feature, you can alternate the colours of the herringbone pattern to add more colour into the living space.

  • Mosaic - Combining a variety of different shades of green within your tile layout can make for a rather unique wall feature in your home, whether that’s on a kitchen splashback or in a bathroom environment.

  • Chevron - These tile patterns are also stylish ways to combine different tile colours, similarly with the herringbone design. What makes them different is that herringbone patterns use rectangular tiles laid at right angles to each other, creating a staggered, woven look where the ends overlap. Chevron patterns use tiles cut at an angle, usually 45°, so the ends meet perfectly in a sharp point, forming a continuous “V” shape. Herringbone offers a more traditional, textured feel, while chevron gives a sleek, modern, and more symmetrical appearance.

There are many other ways that you can create exciting and stylish  patterns with your tiles, so don’t hesitate to explore our other hints and tips in our inspiration section.

The price of the tiles definitely beat competitors and was a speedy delivery. However, the delivery was of poor quality, resulting in many broken tiles due to poor packaging on the pallete and poor delivery to the door. I've since written to customer service to remedy the issue, and even after several days there has been no reply. I'm not sure the savings is worth the hassle.

Very impressed with the service. We were left short of a specific tile when our bathroom supplier went bust. I found them on the Online Tile Shop's website, called them to check and received confirmation they had enough in stock. Delivery was quick and not expensive, and they kept in touch on the delivery progress. Would recommend.
