We have a wide selection of square tiles that are available in sizes that range from smaller 12.5cm tiles that are perfect for mosaic style designs, to larger 100cm tiles that are sure to make an impact.

Smallest Square Tiles - (12.5cm x 12.5cm). Our Borriana collection has a wide range of beautiful small tiles that are perfect for creating mosaic effects and they work particularly well for creating a mosaic effect, whether it’s on a kitchen splashback or on an accent wall in a bathroom. 

Largest Square Tiles - (100cm x 100cm). Our largest anti-slip tiles are suitable for both walls and floors. Usually made from porcelain, they’re perfect for covering large areas and can make your room look and feel even more spacious too. Plus, their anti-slip properties are ideal for wet areas such as bathrooms.  

Choosing the right square tile comes down to various factors such as the room’s moisture levels in which you are tiling and the areas that you are covering.

Bathrooms - For bathrooms and wet rooms, it is important to use moisture resistant waterproof tiles, so our Square Bathroom Tiles make a great option for this. Glazed tiles are the most appropriate option to help prevent damp and excess water in these wetter environments. The glazed finish makes them easy to wipe clean too, making them perfect for heavy use areas.. 

Kitchen Splashbacks -When it comes to tiles for creating beautiful splashbacks, we generally recommend small glazed tiles. These are available in a variety of sizes, but the smaller options are perfect for creating mosaic and geometric patterns that suit both rustic or modern interiors. 

Walls and Floors -  To cover large surface areas, our large square tiles are suitable for both floors and walls. Anti-slip tiles are generally a great option for improved safety where floors may get wet in kitchens, laundry rooms and bathrooms.

Yes, square tiles are trending in 2025 for their versatility. Many people like to use them to create mosaic, checkerboard or geometric patterns to create striking wall or floor accents, whether it’s in the bathroom or on a kitchen splashback.

You can tile over existing tiles as long as the current tiles on the surface are not too heavy or damaged. Tiling over older tiles can be a cheaper and quicker way to lay down your new ones, and it’s a good tip to clean them first and make sure there aren’t too many visible cracks before you get started.

Soft neutral and earthy tones such as grey and beige make great options for your grout colour. Because these shades aren’t pure white, they blend naturally with your tiles and are often easier to clean. However, depending on your tastes and styles, white grout can be a great option to make your tiles stand out.
