White Porcelain Tiles For Bathrooms

Many of our porcelain tiles offer a natural look in the living space, making them a timeless option that suits all kinds of bathroom interiors. Porcelain is an incredibly strong material - it’s able to withstand high-traffic areas on floors over the years. Large White Tiles

Large format white tiles are sure to make any bathroom space feel light and airy. Many of them are suitable floors as well as walls, making the large option great for covering a large surface area quickly - it’ll save you both time and money.

Small White Tiles

When it comes to small white tiles, you can get creative by installing different patterns and layouts such as herringbone, chevron, vertical stack or simply the classic brick bond look. Mosaic tiles are also very popular on bathroom splashbacks, adding uniqueness and character to your home.

More often than not, choosing the right grout shade usually boils down to personal preferences and there’s no right or wrong answer when it comes to finding your perfect shade. In terms of how your tiling project looks, the grout colour is just as important as the tiles themselves. Let’s take a look at some handy tips to help you make a decision:

Off-white Grout

A grout shade that’s off-white can make a lovely subtle contrast to pure white tiles. This grout colour can make each individual tile pop even more, which is ideal if you’d like them to feel more separated and stand out. Off white colours tend to also conceal “discolouration” a bit more, which can make cleaning a bit easier.

A Grout That Matches Your Tile Shade

When paired with your white tiles, white grout can make them blend seamlessly together, perfect if you’re looking for a tile installation that all feels really tied together.

Darker Grout Shades

Choosing a grout shade that is several shades darker, or an alternative colour completely, is great for those who are into more bold and adventurous tiling projects. This technique can look fantastic in small areas such as bathroom splashbacks or even accent walls.

White grout on floor tiles can be easily cleaned in just a few simple steps. Due to the fact that floors attract a lot of dirt each day, it can be useful to stay on top of the cleaning to prevent them from having a large build up of debris. Let’s take a look at some useful tips:

  1. Use Baking Soda - Often accessible in many households, baking soda is an ideal cleaning product to remove any residue or dirt that’s discolouring your white grout. Mix three parts baking soda with one part water to form a thick paste. Apply this to the grout lines (wear gloves) and grab a cleaning toothbrush to scrub any dirt.
  2. Spray With Vinegar - Grab a spray bottle and fill it with some vinegar and warm water. Spray this solution directly onto the baking soda -  you’ll see that it will start to effervesce as it does its job by breaking down grease, grime and dirt.
  3. Scrub Lightly - After waiting for the mixture to fizz for a little while, use the toothbrush to scrub in between the lines again.
  4. Rinse & Wipe - Once you have completed scrubbing, wipe away any excess solution with a microfiber cloth and clean warm water. Ta da! Your tiles will look as good as new.

The price of the tiles definitely beat competitors and was a speedy delivery. However, the delivery was of poor quality, resulting in many broken tiles due to poor packaging on the pallete and poor delivery to the door. I've since written to customer service to remedy the issue, and even after several days there has been no reply. I'm not sure the savings is worth the hassle.

Very impressed with the service. We were left short of a specific tile when our bathroom supplier went bust. I found them on the Online Tile Shop's website, called them to check and received confirmation they had enough in stock. Delivery was quick and not expensive, and they kept in touch on the delivery progress. Would recommend.
