Even if it's simply adding a plant that is suitable for the indoors, or adding your children’s fairy lights to give your bathroom more vibrant colour, doing something simple like this can have a good impact - it will go a lot further than you would expect.
Splashbacks
Re-tiling your full bathroom can be expensive, especially if you have a bathroom that’s on the larger side and want to do the walls and floor.
Instead of re-tiling a full room, you may wish to consider adding a splashback with tile design. These are a small patch of wall that has a featured design made up of tiles.
Splashbacks are useful for preventing unnecessary mess, as they catch the water that can splash from using the sink. They usually only occupy a smaller space, behind the sink on a wall and are a great cost effective way to makeover your bathroom. Tiling your floor can be expensive, especially if you are looking to redo the full floor area of your room. There is a compromise though that will serve just as good a job as getting a completely new set of tiles!
Adding a mirror to the side of your bath does a lot in terms of design, as your floor tile design can be reflected throughout your bathroom giving a strong visual impact across the room.
If your bathroom is on the smaller side, it can also create an illusion of making it seem larger as the full bathroom and content are reflected in the mirror..
Mirror interiors are cheap and easy to install, just be careful of any furry friends or little ones running into it.
