Our wide range of anti-slip bathroom tiles are made from durable porcelain - a natural material that’s sure to stand the test of time. With anti-slip properties on the surface of these tiles, they’re perfect for wet environments such as wet rooms, ensuites and bathrooms, each one designed with your safety in mind.
With a variety of styles available, including brick-effect and patterned styles, you’re sure to find the perfect bathroom tile that suits your personal taste. Whether you have a traditional interior style or the modern look is more your cup of tea, you’ll find a style that pairs beautifully with your home decor.
Not only do we have a wide selection of styles and patterns available, our anti-slip floor tiles for bathrooms are also available in a wide range of sizes and shapes. Whether you love the mosaic look or you’re thinking about creating a chevron pattern on your bathroom flooring, we have various formats to make your vision come to life!
FAQs
Cleaning anti-slip bathroom tiles is important as they are a high-traffic area that faces a lot of moisture, debris and dirt. But in just a few simple steps, your bathroom floor tiles will be as good as new.
Step 1: Sweep Or Vacuum The Floor
Start by removing any dust or surface-level debris by vacuuming or sweeping over your tiles. If you’re using a broom, ensure that it has soft bristles to prevent scratches on the surface of your tiles. The vacuum cleaner should be on a hard floor setting to also prevent any damage on your tiles.
Step 2: Mop The Tiles
After vacuuming or sweeping, we recommend that you mop the tiles with a light cleaning detergent, such as a PH-neutral cleaner or mild washing up liquid that’s diluted in warm water. You don’t want to use something too harsh as these can erode the tiles, their gout and their glaze.
Simply wipe the tiles by using a microfibre cloth, the cleaning detergent, making sure you get in between the grout lines. It’s a good tip to use a kneeling pad to protect your knees while you’re doing this.
Step 3: Rinse With Clean Water
The next step is to ensure any soapy residue is removed from your tiles, as this can settle in the grout lines - which can be counterproductive to cleaning your tiles! So, take a clean mop and rinse the residue away by using a light amount of water. This will also give your tiles a nice shine, making them refreshed and clean.
Grout Cleaning & Removing Limescale
Grout is quite prone to mould because it is often porous, so it absorbs moisture and warmth where mould thrives. Using bicarbonate soda that’s mixed with water is a great home remedy to remove any mould without further damaging your grout. You can simply use a soft toothbrush to scrub any mold that’s appearing between your floor tiles.
For limescale, soak a cloth in white vinegar and place it over the affected area for five minutes and then rinse it thoroughly.
We also sell a wide variety of grouts and adhesives that are resistant to mould, such as our Silicone Finish Jasmin 310ml and the Grout Flex15 Alpine White 3Kg.
Why Regular Cleaning Matters
Not only is cleaning your bathroom floor tiles great for making them look shiny and new, it’s also essential for hygiene and the lifespan of your tiles. If they are not maintained often, grime, soap scum and minerals can build up, discolour your grout and even erode tiles as time goes on. So, a bit of cleaning here and there really goes a long way.
To learn more about how to clean your bathroom tiles effectively, why not take a look at our guides? Here, we break down everything you need to know when it comes to cleaning your bathroom tiles and ensuring they last a long time.
Our range of anti-slip bathroom tiles have so many benefits, from their quality, safety reasons to the various styles that are available. Let’s take a closer look at why our range of anti-slip bathroom tiles make a good investment for your bathroom.
Safety
Our range of anti-slip tiles are designed with more texture and a matte finish to make them generally safer to use in wet environments. If a bathroom floor tile is glazed, it can be very dangerous and slippery when it’s wet. A textured surface helps create more grip and friction, reducing the risk of you slipping on them.
Aesthetics
Another reason why you should invest in some anti-slip bathroom floor tiles is to enhance your bathroom space. With a wide selection of patterns and styles, you can make your bathroom look cosy and stylish ready for you to relax. You’ll want nothing more than to unwind in the bath at the end of a long day, in your newly renovated bathroom space!
Quality
Made with durable porcelain materials, our anti-slip bathroom tiles are perfect if you’re looking for premium tile installations. Whether you’re revamping the ensuite or updating the main bathroom, porcelain tiles are a great option to last for many years to come.
Porcelain is a natural material that is fired at extremely high temperatures, making it durable for a variety of tile installations, including underfloor heating - they’re strong enough to deal with expansion and contraction that comes with temperature changes.
We have a selection of sizes in the ant-slip bathroom tile to choose from, so you can choose the right option that’s best for your bathroom environment, and ultimately, the vision you have for your tile installation. Let’s take a look at some of the size options we have to offer:
Small Rectangular 10 x 20cm Tiles
This tile option is perfect for creating the classic “brick-bond” look on bathroom floors. If you’re feeling adventurous, you could go for other patterns such as herringbone, vertical stack, or chevron - all of which are trending in bathroom interiors. To learn more about various tile patterns, check out our guide on Tile Flooring Patterns and Layouts.
In terms of installation, this tile format is great for smaller bathrooms such as ensuites and downstairs WCs, as these spaces tend to not take as long during the installation and with them having smaller surface areas.
Square 20 x 20 Anti-slip Bathroom Tiles
Our 20 x 20cm anti-slip bathroom tiles are available in a selection of stylish designs, including our Design Grey Square Matt Anti-Slip Patterned Wall & Floor Tile. This is a perfect option if you’re into the encaustic patterned look - these ones add so much character and visual interest to the living space!
Another stylish choice is the Chequer Mix Black & White Anti-slip Floor Tiles. This porcelain tile is a perfect option if you’re into the traditional period home look, making a statement choice when paired with complementary surrounding decor.
